Pakistan Innovation Foundation – PIF, in collaboration with Pakistan 2047 brings to you Pakistan 2047 Thesis and Project Support Grants.

If you’re Final Year Student from an Art, Design, Architecture, Communications, or Social Science School in Pakistan, here is an opportunity to learn and work alongside some of the leading thinkers, scholars, and practitioners in a variety of areas and receive a fieldwork, materials, or research support grant to pay for some important expenses.

The Award will carry a monetary value of PKR 75,000/- to be split 80:20 between the student and faculty advisor as well as opportunities for professional capacity building and access to external advisors / mentors for guidance.*

The monetary award may be used to defray the cost of fieldwork to make the thesis more realistic and grounded in reality, or on the advisors advice, on materials / software, etc. otherwise not available to the student.*

The proposed thesis/project must support one of the several priority themes of the Pakistan 2047 Project. The thesis/project may (or may not) be co-supervised externally by a PIF nominated supervisor. The student must also agree to share one physical and one electronic copy of all thesis products (reports, visuals, etc.) with Pakistan 2047 project and agree to have them showcased both virtually and physically.

Upto 5 Awards will be made on a rolling basis from October 2020 till March 2021 and must be completed by Dec 2021.
