Holistic Science Teaching: An International Teachers' Fellowship & Workshop

• INSTRUCTIONS This form is compulsory to apply for Holistic Science Teaching Fellowship and Workshop. It will take between 20-30 minutes to fill out this form properly. Kindly provide us as much information about yourself, your teaching style, and your teaching challenges as possible as this is the only information we have to decide if you're a good fit for the programme. In addition to this form, there is also a quick (less than 10 minute) Science Literacy, Attitudes, and Culture Survey which helps us benchmark you against previous applicants. That survey, however, does not contribute to your application and is useful only once you're selected. You will be directed to that survey once you submit this application form. Doing both should not take more than 30 minutes of your time.

  I understand that this fellowship requires attending a 5-day workshop and a 4 month long-process of implementing the Holistic Science Pedagogy in the classroom and sharing results which may include weekly/monthly online meetings.I am OK to share data on my teaching practice in the classroom, and will work with project team to secure necessary permissions from school administration and/or parents, if needed.I am OK with the project team observing my classroom 2-3 times during the course of the next term and making observations about how well the Holistic Science Pedagogy is being implemented in the classroom.I have permission from my principal / supervisor to participate in this Fellowship/workshop and to deploy the pedagogy I have learnt in my classroomI am fully conversant with English and understand that the primary language of the workshop is English.I understand English well enough to operate but may need some additional support in Urdu to fully understand the content of the workshop.

INSTRUCTIONS: Once you click to submit, you will be taken to an Online Survey of Science Literacy, Attitudes and Culture on our partner website (muslim-science.com). This survey shall take less than 10 minutes to fill out. It does NOT have any bearing on your selection for this programme (which only requires filling out this form, in-person zoom interview and classroom video recording) but the science survey will be used to benchmark you, anonymously, against prior applicants to the programme.
